Zach and I are planning on killing 2 highly endangered Red Snapper each on Saturday. We only have to go about 55 miles each way this time of year because the cold water will have them moved in close. I sure hope the forecast holds. I need some fish blood on the boat.

Dan, if you want to go, the spare bedroom is yours. It's just me and Zach so far. We are leaving at 0630 Saturday from South Shore Harbor Marina. BJ is welcome as well. We do have a working potty/aka head. You only live once, amigo Wink

I really appreciate that Mont. I'm a delegate to our church convention in Ft Worth Saturday. And when I'm done with that we're getting ready for company over Thanksgiving (smoked BBQ turkey breast with venison sausage). I'll take a raincheck until next spring if I may.

The front came thru with 40+ winds yesterday. So you should be in great shape by Saturday.

It's already laying back down here. Looks to be a good day of fishin'. I loaded some new spots into the GPS to check out, along with some I haven't been too in a couple of years. It shouldn't be that hard to pick up a quick limit and head back in. Sunday looks downright rough at this point.

The weather liars missed it big time yesterday. It was 2 to 4 with a 6 footer thrown in every once in a while for good measure. What was unusual was the swell. That's pretty rare around here. It was a good day of fishing. We left them biting at 2 to head back home and made it in just before sundown.

Looks like the weather kept you from getting a limit of reds, but the three you got are nice...and that lemon fish is a beauty. I'd trade that for one red snapper (especially if I already had three) any day. Zach looks good.

Cobia steaks on the grill? And Snapper filets to boot... Looks pretty good.

I thought about you and Zach when the winds started to pick up. It was 30 or so all day here yesterday and today. And Zach has sure grown just a tad. I wouldn't have recognized him Smile
