Fish ID for the Gulf x-perts

Got several of these live-lining shrimp this morning. I think they are silver trout. No markings, about 20-22". Didn't take pictures but this looks like 'em:

More likely the Sand Trout, aka "White Trout", Cynoscion arenarius. The silver has small dark spots on the dorsal surface, as does the Weakfish. My source is Vic Dunaway's Sport Fish of Florida. Worth picking up a copy, as we share a whole lot of fish with Texas. ~~Greg~~
