500 mile road trip this morning
#1
Headed up fairly close to JD's place to trade the trailer for a coach. With any luck, this will be sitting in my driveway this evening.

Enjoy East Texas. About 2 hours from here. Should be a comfortable trip back for some lucky driver Smile

That ACE will haul butt. I was passing 18 wheelers going up hill in it. I came back down through Buffalo on the way home. That's a much better road. One of my first road trips is to take Mom to see her aunt and her Father's brother before Christmas. She seems pretty excited about it. I told her I am tired of going to funerals and we should go up and see them while we still can. It's going to pull my Lightning, no problem. That Ford V10 is a beast of an engine.

Enjoy the Hell out of it.
In the first place, God made idiots. That was for practice. Then he made non Fishermen.

I am going to Florida in it before long, Howard. Will bring my long extension cord. Wink I spent an hour at the Chiropractors office this morning getting my neurotic leg straightened back out from the road trip. More pit stops on the next one. I couldn't believe it took 12 hours to get to Tyler Tx and back. 4 of it was spent going across Houston and back.

How is the gas mileage on that fancy beast? Really looks nice!

I would guess 6 or 7 MPG. It's got an 80 gallon tank. My Dodge got the same pulling my Puma and it has about the same frontal area worth of drag. It showed 500 miles range when it was full on the computer and took half a tank to go the 240 miles back home. It's going to be nice not to have to worry with adding fuel to the tank when it's parked and running on the generator. I do a lot of free standing camping. When I sold the Warrior, it had close to 2000 hours on the generator.

If you drove it down here, you could park it in my front yard. ~~Greg~~

It's gonna see Florida soon and I might just take you up on the Greg.
It got a bath today and I figured out nearly everything including all but one switch. I gotta hand it to Thor on the design on this one. That slick outside is easy to wash.
