Default back up to speed

I pulled the boat Wed and got it back today, running 30 MPH again. Not bad for a 23 year old set of diesels. I also got my favorite set of props back on and along with a new starboard cutlass, it's smooth as silk again. The fire felt good last night. I love this time of year and tomorrow makes one year of being unemployed for good.

The first year of unemployment is a piece of cake. The second year things start to change.....you not only forget what it was like to work but also what day of the week it is The third year you forget why you walked across the room

I had some 6 by 6s sprout up by my shop today. It's going to be nice to have a little more elbow room. 15 by 15 added to 20 by 30. I want to build another plywood boat for the grandkids to float around the pond in. Most likely, another one is going to crop up on the other end this fall.

Looking good Monty. Glad you are really enjoying your retirement. I don't know why i don't look in here more often.

Hope all of you Guys are well. I read about Greg's fishing every trip.

I sure miss the great togetherness we had on our meet ups. Still have loads of pictures that I still look at all the time.

I am coming back to Florida soon to fish with Greg, Howard. I could always fly into JAX and drive us both down and back. I have a bit more time before I can sit in an airplane and when I do, it's gonna be in a wide seat with free drinks.

I put the locks on the door this morning. Except for some trim and trim paint, it's done outside. Damn good thing too. It's getting towards summer here in the afternoons.

FYI, my Florida dates are June 13th to 19th and I am staying at the Hilton on Singer Island the whole time.
