Hot Damn. It finally rained in south west Florida. 3" and most of it soaked in. We live close to the Gulf and the ground is flat and only a couple of feet above sea leavel so some of it runs in to the Gulf. But every little bit helps

We got a norther through here and fishing is completely blown out. I am heading to the beach to camp and attend a gathering that's going to have live music. Time to kill a few blue cans.

  Wanted: World's Greatest Fishing Guide
Posted by: Alfred - 10-22-2006, 08:28 PM - Forum: GreenGrouper - Replies (3)

World's greatest fishing guide wanted for help with a trip to British Columbia in August, 2007. Would need experience targeting small flatfish (anything other than sanddabs and starry flounders), coho salmon, sockeye salmon, Pacific cod, and shrimp. Experience with obscure species such as wolf eels and giant wrymouths a plus. Fishery biology experience also a plus. Compensation in American pesos and/or Bacardi. Serious inquiries only please.

I will be more than glad to email you some. Not only did it pour on me on the bike ride in Mexico, it's been raining ever since, except yesterday. Even Reba B, my Irish setter has had enough of it. We are coming close to a foot of the wet stuff, and it's still coming down.

I just spoke with Dan. I called because I was concerned. His e-mail box is full, & every time that's happened, he's been in the hospital. Again..for the last ten days. Sought attention because his leg was numb, & they found internal bleeding in the lungs. Treating that with radiation, & have the leg about taken care of. He expects to be out by Tuesday.
